Claudia Uriate Cabrera, MS, OTR/L
Earned a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida International University in 2012. She is licensed in the state of Florida and is board certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy. Claudia has clinical experience in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and private settings primarily in pediatrics.
In 2013, she founded Enhanced Living Therapy with the mission on providing exceptional patient & family centered pediatric Occupational, Physical and Speech Language Therapies in Miami Dade county. She has training and experience with sensory integration, the Astronaut Training program, Therapeutic Listening program, and Handwriting Without Tears program.
Claudia began providing independent services at MOT Academy since 2015. Claudia has partnered with the staff at MOT and has held parent workshops focusing on topics and techniques related to various conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders. As a firm believer of bringing out the best and enhancing every child’s maximal potential, she focuses on continuously engaging the families and caretakers of the children throughout their experience at home and at school.
